Like a Lamb Led to the Slaughter

Is it worth $115 just to be able to say that you played…knowing that you will go two and out and probably not win a single game?

  1. Well, as I’m sure you already know because I know you’re a student of the game (even moreso than I) – if you’re expecting to go 2 and out, you most definitely will go 2 and out. 😉

But if it’s reasonable for you to attend the event (travel expenses are minimal, or negligent) then HELL YES, I’d say it’s worth it to enter the event. Don’t *expect* to win, don’t *expect* to lose. Only *plan* to play your best and see what happens. Then you can *expect* to make a nice long blog post about the experience. haha

    • LOL! You know me well. I hope to draw a pro in the first round. Either I get really lucky and win, or I get an autograph and a blog post to boot! Maybe even an interivew! 😉

  2. I always enjoy reading whatever your write, but this post has some negative vibes. Go and play, stay Focused, Relaxed and play your game you might be surprised at how well you do. Good luck.

    • Sorry for the negative vibes! I try to temper my eternal optimism with an occasional dose of realism. The tournament is still a few weeks away, so I can afford to down talk right now to force me to bear down, practice, and get ready. Right before the tournament, I’ll have my happy face back on. Thanks for the encouragement!
